Frequently Asked Questions

Does your company supply the paint?

We give each client the option to buy their own paint or we can include the cost into the final quote. We have a long standing relationship with Sherwin-Williams and receive frequent discounts on paint products. Feel free to ask us for more details.

Satin, flat, or gloss?

This really depends on the way you want your home to look. Satin has less shine but holds up well in areas that need to be cleaned frequently (i.e kitchen, bathroom, etc.) Flat has a matte look that does not highlight any imperfections which may be present in the walls. Gloss will have the brightest shine that will brighten a room but is reflective to light and show imperfections more easily.

How can we pay?

We currently have our invoices fulfilled via check or cash. We currently do not have a credit card system in place for any of our projects.

Can you restore front doors?

We will restain or repaint doors after a careful sanding followed by a putty filling to smooth any imperfections. The finish will last depending on sun and rain exposure, this can range from months to years.

PAint or replace our carpet first?

We have many homeowners who are renovating their home from the inside out. In terms of replacing any flooring, we recommend having the walls and baseboards painted first as we can complete your home at a faster rate.

How long does it take to paint a room?

A single room can range from hours to days depending on the condition and need. If you want to transition from wallpaper to a textured wall, then it may take up to 3 days as we have to strip, texture, prime, and paint the walls. This can be better determined upon inspection during our estimate.

What paint brand should I buy?

We have used Sherwin-Williams since the start of our company. They provide consistent and long lasting results for any home project. Their paint requires less than 2 coats for most colors and thus decreases the amount of time spent on each area of your home.

Can you patch holes in our walls?

We can patch and reconstruct certain parts depending on the damage. We will replicate the texture of the walls and paint over to cover any blemishes. We can give you a clear answer upon inspection during our estimate.

What color should I choose?

There have been many trends in the past decade ranging from accent walls to muted colors. We can show you examples of recent homes we have painted and given you further guidance depending on your interests. You can also try Adobe Color to help determine a color palette.

What should I do prior to your arrival?

We only ask that you remove any important items from the spaces that we will paint. Our workflow involves moving all furniture and wall mounted decor to the center of the room. The furniture and floors will be covered in tarps to protect it from any paint splatter. Feel free to remove any other items out of the room prior to our arrival.

DO you paint wooden cabinets?

Yes, we can paint certain wooden cabinets. This is dependent on the current finish and material of your cabinets. Feel free to inform us of the specific area during our estimate.

What areas can do you pressure wash?

We pressure wash areas you deem necessary. This can range from a complete wash or a specified area such as the front door, windows, driveway, etc.
